Artist's Comments

I was playing with my cat, throwing stuff at her, etc... As I was lying on the floor, I glanced at the ceiling, and with the great angles and contrast, I had to take a picture. Comment please!

The progression of the shadow and the shapes are really nice and simple.

Yup. Great work with contrast. Those are some trippy lights.
:iconderjukee:
I think they only appear trippy because my hand probably moved in the process of taking the photo. They are cool, just not as cool in real life...:(

Thanks; I had no idea how well the shading would turn out, but it turned out better than I had expected. I was more intrigued by the angles of the ceiling, though everything in general turned out nice.

Hehe... that's why we have photography. We capture what we can't see.
:iconlailindieil:
I really like that. It's kind of intriguing for some reason.
:iconmgilpin:
there is something cubistic about it... like a detail of a painting by braque...

i really love the shadows and lines in this photo. it almost looks like an abstract face with the two lights being the eyes and the wall being the nose. :D i love this...so simple, but so interesting. very nice shot.
